Bulb Planting Success at Devenish Partnership Forum!

Written on . Posted in , .

Last Saturday, the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership in partnership with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council joined the Devenish Partnership Forum to deliver an exciting free workshop on biodiversity at the Devenish Partnership Forum Nature Reserve.

Attendees got the opportunity to plant crocus bulbs around the Devenish Partnership Forum Allotments sign, and their appearance next spring is eagerly anticipated.

In addition, Sarah Jane, the Biodiversity Officer from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council talked us through different types of native trees, how to harvest their seeds and how to plant them on. This workshop has been made possible through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund Northern Ireland. The Lough Erne Landscape Partnership are supporting communities to protect, enhance and conserve the unique biodiversity of the Lough Erne Landscape.
