Event Details

Join RSPB staff on a guided walk through the autumnal display at Castle Archdale Country Park. Learn to identify the different signs of autumn and the wildlife that will be most active during this bountiful season. Hiding amongst the autumnal colours of the woodland great spotted woodpeckers can be heard and red squirrels may even be glimpsed as they stash away food for the colder months ahead. Migratory wildfowl such as whooper swans and wigeons can be seen feeding near the shores of the lough, whilst flocks of thrushes (redwings and fieldfares) will be calling overhead looking for autumn berries to feast on.

Entrance Fee

£5 per adult, £2.50 per child. Free for all RSPB members
