Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) in partnership the RSPB are seeking volunteers to take part in a volunteer day on RSPB Horse Island Reserve on Saturday  12^th of February from 9:30 – 2pm.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the work of the RSPB on the reserves whilst assisting the team in works that will contribute to restoring the habitat on the island for breeding waders such as Curlew.

Meeting at Rossigh Bay we will travel by RSPB cot over to Horse Island where members of the team will talk you through the work that they are carrying out whilst you are carrying out duties such as gorse clearance and litter picking.

The event will be weather dependent and it is essential that all volunteers wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Gloves, tools and sanitisers will be provided.
