LELP hosts RSPB visit to Fermanagh

Written on . Posted in .

On a cold winters morning, the LELP team showcased Fermanagh’s natural, cultural and built heritage to a small selection of people from the RPSB.

During the visit we heard from the local RSPB NI Team on the conservation work for breeding wader species on both the Upper and Lower Lough Erne.

We were joined by Kevin Cox (Chair of RSPB Council), Shaun Thomas (Chief Operating Officer), Judith Annett (Chair of the RSPB advisory committee for NI and RSPB Trustee) and Joanne Sherwood (Director, RSPB Northern Ireland).

Thank you to the Erne Water taxi for a very informative tour of Devenish Island.
