LEWC Boa Island Cruise

On Saturday 20th May 2023, we enjoyed a public cruise with Lough Erne Wildfowlers Council from Boa Island – we had a chance to learn about all the wonderful conservation work they are doing for local endangered bird species such as Curlew, Snipe, Lapwing and Redshank. We had an opportunity to learn about the Digs for Ducks Project, with displays of duck homes, while touring some of the areas they have been placed.

One passenger was incredibly thankful, as he had never been on that area of the water in his 87 years of life.
