
Lough Erne Amazing Pollinators – Workshops
We are delighted to announce that as part of the Lough Erne Amazing Pollinators project we will be delivering a series of projects focusing on pollinators and their habitats. The workshops are open to all and will provide attendees with the opportunity to gain a knowledge of pollinators and their habitats. Those attending can register for the series of workshops or attend individual workshops.
Rose Cremin, Butterfly Conservation will deliver the training at the following workshops in line with The All-Ireland Pollinator Plan, and the actions recommended to improve habitats of pollinators in the region.
Workshop 1: 13 April 2019 Introduction to Pollinators and their Habitats This workshop will provide information and training on the identification of pollinators and their habitats and the actions that can be taken to promote and enhance pollinators habitats.
Workshop 2: 16 May 2019 Introduction to Butterflies Butterflies are vital pollinators in the region and in this workshop we will learn how to identify butterfly species and record their habitats.
Workshop 3: 8 June 2019 Introduction to Moths We are lucky in this region to have a diverse range of moth species, this workshop will enable participants to identify a range of species and how to develop suitable habitats.
