Lough Head Book Launch
LELP is delighted to be supporting Lisnaskea Historical Society on their Lough Head project. The finale of their project was the launch of their book ‘Lough Head Revealed’ on Friday 25th November 2022. There was a great turnout to hear very interesting speakers, Dr Paul Logue (Archaeologist with the Dept of Communities, Historic Environment Division) and Adrian Farrell. Adrian spoke on the history of Clifton House and Dr Paul Logue on the Maguire landscape and the general archaeology of the Lisnaskea area. The audience was also treated to some wonderful singing from members of Fermanagh School of Music and Performing Arts and poems of the late John Reihill were recited by Russell Storey.
