DEADLINE EXTENDED: 18th June 2021
Lough Erne Heritage invites quotations for the provision of a feasibility study for a Museum dedicated to the heritage and history of Lough Erne as outlined in the Specification below.
There is a large body of work associated with the history and heritage around Lough Erne that is not currently easily accessible to the public. Different aspects and items reflective of our local maritime heritage are held by a number of different organisations and this project is aimed at creating a central accessible resource in a location on the shores of Lough Erne itself that can become a destination for residents, visitors and be used for educational purposes. The creation of a new heritage museum will increase collaboration and partnership working amongst local and regional heritage organisations. The new museum will be ever evolving and growing to reflect the changing face of life on Lough Erne
You are asked to provide a comprehensive Feasibility Study in support of a proposal that a Maritime Heritage Museum be established on the shores of Lough Erne which will for the first time bring to the visitor, in the one place, all that there is to know about this unique area.
Closing date for applications: EXTENDED to Friday 18th June 2021 at 12pm
