RSPB: Request for Quotation for Transportation of Machinery (closed)

To provide transport of machinery & associated equipment to Trasna Island, RSPB Lower Lough Erne Islands Reserve, to complete habitat management works for Curlew, through the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership on Lower Lough Erne.

As part of the overall Lough Erne Landscape Partnership (LELP) heritage initiative, the Royal Society of the Protection of Birds (RSPB) have secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to continue and expand their existing project on Trasna Island (Appendix B) to restore and maintain suitable habitat for a number of wading bird species which have been in decline as breeding species in the area in recent decades. The RSPB wish to appoint a contractor to transport equipment to and from Trasna Island on Lower Lough Erne Islands Reserve.
