Storytelling evening creates a hive of activity

Written on . Posted in .

What a fabulous evening last night at Aughakillymaude Mummers Centre, Knockninny.  A thoroughly enjoyable night of storytelling, singing and music.  Thanks so much to Brian McManus, the local storytellers, singers, musicians and caterers.  Thanks also to Liz Weir and Stephen O’Hara for participating and of course, Bryan Gallagher, Barry Flanaghan and Clare Brogan who, last night, put their oral skills in storytelling training to good use.  The training was delivered by Liz and Stephen through the Lough Erne Landscape Partnership heritage skills project. This would not be possible without the funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.   Liz and Stephen will be delivering further refresher/taster courses via Lough Erne Landscape Partnership and more storytelling & ceilli evenings are in the pipeline, so keep a close eye on our facebook page!
