CEFF Project: Upper Lough Erne Islands Breeding Wader Project
This project aims to restore highly threatened breeding wader species and their habitats on islands in the Derrylin area of Upper Lough Erne. It will be delivered in partnership by Derrylin and District Gun Club and the local community and farmers.
CEFF Project: Safer Digs for Ducks
The aim of this project is to reduce the level of predation on nesting tunnels of wild ducks on Lough Erne by replacing the wooden posts with galvanised steel poles.
CEFF Project: Shoreline Stories
The project aims to create enhanced and alternative access to Lough Erne by improving the awareness of its history and providing a social commentary. It will use a zero-emission, fully electric passenger vessel to provide this access.
CEFF Project: Bannagh Chapel Preservation Project
This project aims to protect and preserve the original stained-glass windows of Bannagh Chapel which are in urgent need of repair to prevent drafts and leaks, which are already occurring.
CEFF Project: The Past Recorded
This project will work in partnership to digitise the Parish Records, record folklore and set up a genealogical and heritage database and interpretation display in The Courthouse, Kesh.
CEFF Project: Hands on Heritage: Landscapes and Riverscapes
The project will provide students, aged 11 – 14 years old, the opportunity to spend a day on the water rowing the Menapian currach and paddling canoes, as well as participating in biodiversity and heritage workshops.
CEFF Project: The History of Lough Head
This project aims to increase awareness of the unique heritage at Lough Head, Lisnaskea, by erecting two information panels, a seat and planting native flowers.
CEFF Project: Aghalane Accessible Woodland Walkway
This project will work in partnership with Annagh Social Farm CIC to regenerate woodland, create an accessible path and conduct biodiversity activities.
